In-office Teeth Whitening
If you choose the in-office teeth whitening treatment, we can brighten your smile in the comfort of our Staten Island dental boutique in just under an hour. After thoroughly cleaning your teeth, and placing protective material over the soft tissues of your mouth, Drs. Cicero and Kenyon will apply the first layer of whitening gel directly onto your teeth. A special Zoom!® light will be trained on your teeth to activate the whitening agents in the solution for intensified results. The light will be used in 15 minute increments for about 45 minutes. Finally, we will rinse any excess gel from your mouth, and send you on your way with a stunning smile.
Often, Drs. Cicero and Kenyon will suggest fitting you with take-home trays for touch-ups and color maintenance. If you practice good oral hygiene habits, the effects of your whitening treatment can last for years to come.
At-home Procedure
If whitening your teeth at home is more convenient for you, we can create custom-fit whitening trays to help you achieve outstanding results. When you get home, you will place the Zoom!® whitening gel into the trays and wear them for 30-45 minutes. Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly to remove any excess whitening gel. After just a few sessions, your teeth will be noticeably whiter, and your results will continue to improve over time.
